Freedom of Information

The Western Australian Freedom of Information Act 1992 (WA) gives members of the community the right to access documents held by public sector agencies including Pilbara Ports.

Our information statement contains details on:

• Costs and fees
• How to apply for access to information and documents
• Internal and external review of decisions
• Notification of decisions
• What information can be accessed

In general, we will meet reasonable requests for access to information without the need for an application under the Freedom of Information Act 1992 (WA).

In instances where a formal application for information under the Freedom of Information Act 1992 (WA) is deemed necessary, applicants will need to complete a Freedom of Information application form and submit to Pilbara Ports in person, via Australia Post or by email.
