The Port Development Strategy 2030 supports the achievement of Pilbara Ports' vision and is the overarching document in the Port Planning Framework.
The strategy establishes land use, infrastructure development and logistics objectives for the planning and development of Pilbara Ports' ports until 2030. It also sets the planning direction for individual port land use plans.
The Port Development Strategy 2030 is consistent with the objectives and priorities of national, state and regional plans and strategies.

The Port Development Guidelines apply to the development and construction of new infrastructure and/or the modification of existing infrastructure within Pilbara Ports’ port land and waters.
The Port Development Guidelines - Application Guide outlines the process for proponents seeking approval from Pilbara Ports.
The Port Development Guidelines - Technical Standards (appendices) provide detailed performance criteria and minimum standards for developments.
Pilbara Ports’ uses Aconex to manage development applications. Proponents will be provided with a unique DA reference number and invited to the Aconex project for your development.
Proponents are required to register their organisation on Aconex and create a user account and submit the development application and supporting documentation on Aconex. There is no requirement to complete a paper based form.
