Partnerships

Pilbara Ports is a proud member of the community, and we are committed to contributing to the liveability of the region in which we operate. 

Through collaborative partnerships, Pilbara Ports aims to make lasting and significant change in the community by engaging with the not-for profit sector to focus on four pillars:

Pilbara Ports partnerships are a long-term collaboration with a clear commitment towards cooperation and shared responsibility relating to the four priorities. Partnership eligibility is restricted to not-for-profit/incorporated groups, state government agencies, and local government authorities in the Pilbara.

Community partnerships will not be formed with or around:

• Political or religious pursuits.
• Activities intended to provide the stakeholder with private profit or gain.
• Projects that that promote or encourage gambling, drinking, smoking or any substance abuse.
• Proposals involving products, brands or companies that conflict with the strategic direction or values of Pilbara Ports.
• Projects that may present a reputational risk for Pilbara Ports.

Proposals will not be considered if they:

• Involve products, brands, or companies that conflict with the Pilbara Ports values, and vision to connect the possibilities of the Pilbara to the world, so our customers and communities thrive.
• Present a reputational risk for Pilbara Ports including the promotion or encouragement of gambling, substance abuse, alcohol/tobacco consumption, modern slavery, political pursuits, or religious pursuits.
• Intend to provide or support individuals with private profit or gain, salaries, or wages.

Eligible not-for-profit organisations interested in working in partnership with Pilbara Ports on a long-term collaboration, with a clear commitment towards cooperation and shared responsibility aligned with Pilbara Ports' vision, values and pillars for community investment, are encouraged to email sponsorship@pilbaraports.com.au to request a meeting with the stakeholder engagement advisor.
